I left Aotearoa New Zealand in 2000 with the bare minimum of luggage and a snowboard bag, to take up a job in Austria I never in a million years could have envisaged.
I didn't return home until nearly a quarter century later, having spent the last two decades in Germany. Long enough to become fluent in the language, the culture, and the particular loneliness of operating at the highest levels of a German organisation.
I've run things. I've built things. I've lost things. I've learnt things.
I've unmade versions of myself that weren't working and rebuilt from what remained.
I'm also a photographer, a mountain biker, and a surfer. I mention this not as colour, but because those activities have been informing the way I see, the way I learn, the way I deal with things that are hard or scary, the way I move through the world... for over half my life.
I'm not a therapist. I'm not a coach. I'm not a management consultant.
I'm someone who has done the work and who has the cultural fluency and genuine empathy to help others do the same.

When I'm not doing this work, I'm focusing on Naked & Curious Ltd, the independent creative and strategic venture studio I founded when I came back to New Zealand in 2024.
