I’ve spent much of my career entering new systems under pressure — new roles, unfamiliar organisations and sectors, different countries, cultures, languages, politics and power structures.
I’m a New Zealander who spent more than two decades living and working in Germany and Europe, largely in senior communications, strategy, and leadership roles.
I understand German corporate culture from the inside, including its strengths, its discipline, and its constraints.
Over the course of my career, I have entered many new roles and organisations, from my first role at Hewlett-Packard through to senior leadership positions in Europe, most recently as Managing Director of VIM Group.
I didn't always enter those roles as intentionally as I could have, and it was only in my most recent role that I consciously designed my first 90 days, drawing on what I had learned from the previous ones.
The difference was noticeable. Not because the plan was perfect, but because it created clarity, restraint, and focus at exactly the right moment.
That experience sits at the centre of my work today.
Now based in Wānaka, Aotearoa New Zealand, I bring an external perspective not shaped by internal hierarchies or inherited assumptions, a direct and grounded way of thinking, genuine interest in people rather than titles, and the ability to name issues clearly without creating unnecessary friction.
I don’t offer coaching programmes or large-scale consulting projects. My work is focused, time-bound, and centred on early judgment, positioning, and timing.
